Overview
The Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group communication intervention will comprise of a number of messages and will be used as a vehicle to create and enhance a culture of awareness, understanding, and learning for Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group advantage and assurance of participations during the establishment phase.
Scope
The scope of this intervention will be to manage communication efforts with people regarding the Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group matters.
All issues that give effect to Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group implementation includes communication on the following:
1. About connecting Practice
2. Forum Structure
3. Netiquette Guidelines
4. Tell Us What You Think
Objectives
The overall objectives of this intervention are to:
1. communicate a clear, simple, and understandable message to the target audiences; and
2. ensure that all communication is consistent and factually correct.
Strategy
Blog, Email (organization and individual), and egroup discussion communication approaches will be adopted to provide message in a lively, vibrant and appealing manner. This includes the following promoting Blogs as additional channels:
Sphere;
Facebook;
Technorati;
Feedburner;
MyBlogLog;
Digg; and
So on.
Action Plan
Pre-implementation stage
1. Develop Work and Communication Plan. Use this as a communication tool for group presentations, discussion starters, etc.
2. Identify target audiences in your community who can support you in this intervention. then separate them into manageable parts.
3. Develop message about “What’s Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group really about?” for your target audiences. This is to obtain active participation in the Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group development processes by building collaborations with target audiences who can help you make the message reach organization and people. This includes creating the identity of the Connecting Practice and Practitioner Group and giving them an opportunities for two way communication and feedback by inviting them to provide you with their inputs (comments, suggestions, etc) in the About and Practitioner Group-Comments section page.
4. Incorporate promoting Blogs.
Implementation stage
1. Participate in any egroup discussion.
2. No matter how good the rest of the strategy, there is no gain with no demonstrable outcomes. Start today posting your new messages - you may get messages (your own practices) from qkm_criteria. Post new message by using storytelling and strategic questioning.
3. Launch of forum communication campaign - keep communication focus.
4. Provide on-going feedback on forum communication campaign progress and impact of successful operations to all audiences.
5. Collect feedback for reflection and/or plan improvement.
Post Implementation stage
1. Share success stories.
2. Communicate improvement plan.
3. Secure long term commitment between forum and audiences.
4. Repeat forum communication campaign for 1 year: Every week (first month), every month (2nd month), and every quarter (1st-4th quarter).
5. Post Learning Log in the blog and complementing the forum.
6. Update message list in the communication plan.
7. Update Audience list in the communication plan.
